Job Costing System
The benefits an extremely well written and detailed Job Costing Systems can bring to a contractor are invaluable; work is allocated, scheduled and controlled from the Job Costing System.
As actual costs are accrued, they are compared to budgeted costs, to determine variances for each phase of each job and completed tasks are reported back into the system allowing current project conditions to be reported immediately.
Cost Codes are used for each phase, allowing "mini-budgets" to be generated and tracked.
